Ground and Flight Training Resources for Sport Pilot Certificate
This list offers known flight schools and instructors that offer training with light sport category aircraft . Most schools have high-end light sport aircraft (LSA’s) that are more similar to general aviation on flying than those lighter aircraft we fly at the airpark. We encourage those new to aviation on to or those new to flying ultralights and LSA’s that operate similarly to ultralights, pursue this level of training to learn the basics of flight. Once you have either completed flight training and/or have solo’ed in these aircraft , we encourage you to perform flight transitioning in our types of aircraft in order to become accustomed to the flight characters of such aircraft (or ultralight vehicles). The club makes no guarantees or makes any specific recommendation on on the school or instructor other than providing a list where such encourages offer training in LSA aircraft .
